Interlude: St. George’s Today’s view from the ground: St. George’s, Grenada – December 2010 Most Caribbean islands look very much alike, especially at their points of entry. Airports and seaports are festooned with images of happy foreigners frolicking on beaches, being catered to by happy docile natives under a perpetual friendly sun. It makes for a lovely holiday, but one farther removed from reality than some people would prefer. V.S….
